Roger Frymire's U.P. Centennial, a DDA40X (DD = double diesel, A = it has a cab, 40 = two GP40s, and X = experimental). This was built by Railroad Supply and first ran in the early 1980s. Roger is the 3rd owner, who rebuilt the trucks, repainted, and rewired it when he got it. Roger is from Bakersfield and president of the Kern County Live Steamers.

No. 1 and No. 2 Central of Texas. Clinton Nelson hails from Newbury, Oregon. This train lives with his father, Ron, in Lompoc. These are modeled after very similar and equally orange Texas Central Alcoa S-2s.
